Jonathan Gimblett
Founder

Jonathan previously worked for over 21 years at Countryside Partnerships PLC one of the leading residential, mixed tenure and partnership developers in the UK.  

Throughout his time at Countryside, Jonathan worked across a variety of different areas of the business including Land and New Business Acquisition, development appraisal and review, Development Management and viability, Planning and Technical Approval Management, Design Management including masterplanning and urban design, Technical Design Management, Consultant and Project Procurement, Strategy and Programme management and both project and design reviews. 

Having graduated in 2000 Jonathan holds a BA (Hons) in Architecture from Leeds Metropolitan University. He also holds an Academically Qualified Person Construction Skills Certification card.

Jonathan has led teams involved in a wide variety of residential based development projects including Countryside’s multiple award winning Abode and Aura developments in Cambridge, Greenwich Millennium Village, one of the flagships of the UK Governments Millennium Communities programmes, the mixed-use Fresh Wharf, Barking and residential led The Mount, Mill Hill in London amongst many other traditional housing developments across London and the Home Counties.

Jonathan is also a member of the Essex Quality Review Panel (EQRP) and of the Uttlesford Quality Review Panel.

Competency

HLME was established following extensive experience working across a variety of different roles within the Housebuilding and Mixed Tenure development industry.

We keep our knowledge and skills up to date through:

  • Ongoing continuing professional development through reviews of published material and statutory documents.

  • Membership of the construction Supply Chain Sustainability School - https://www.supplychainschool.co.uk

  • Attendance and participation in various third party seminars and events.

  • Specialist training where required.

Jonathan is also a personal supporter of the Cambridge Forum for the Construction Industry, a charity which promotes a wider understanding and appreciation of the Construction Industry. - https://www.cfci.org.uk
