HLME was asked to support the clients delivery team through the provision of short term Development Management services for a new development of approximately 300 new timber frame homes on a steeply sloping site located on the edge of a former chalk quarry in Houghton Regis. The mixed tenure development comprises a range of homes for Private sale, Affordable and Private Rent.
HLME assisted across a range of areas including liaison with the previous Landowner and master developer, other project stakeholders, the Clients consultant team and provided support in relation to residual planning and estate management issues. During our appointment HLME also acted as the principal client interface in relation to third party construction contracts the client had entered into and contributed to the clients regular financial management review and forecasting process.
Following a further internal review HLME participated in the successful transfer of the project to a new team within the client body and has since provided some limited support to this new project team.
